Thailand eSIM: data for Bangkok, the islands and the north
From Bangkok's BTS to island ferries, you'll rely on maps, ride-hailing and messaging apps in Thailand. A travel eSIM means you're online as you walk out of arrivals.
Good to know
- Data only. You get mobile internet for maps, messaging apps, ride-hailing and video calls, but no local phone number.
- Keep your own number. Your usual SIM stays in the phone for calls and bank text codes. Turn off its data roaming to avoid charges.
- Island hopping. Coverage is generally good in cities and popular islands but can be weaker at sea or in remote areas.

Setup in three steps
- Choose a plan on the plan page and pay by card or PayPal.

- When you land, select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line.
